ABOUT THE PLAY

Freely adaped from the 19th century play LA RONDE, the play FUCKING MEN observes the lives of ten modern urban gay males from all walks of life as they negotiate the before and after of lust, love, betrayal and the pursuit of sex and emotional connection. A bold analysis of gay lifestyles that will fascinate male and female audiences of every persuasion.

Funny, poignant, sometimes dramatic, always provocative and sexy, the show has been a runaway success in Los Angeles and London. The Los Angeles Times said, "Pungent insight infiltrates FUCKING MEN." The Times (London) called it "genuinely provocative."

There is some brief nudity.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

In its Chicago premiere, the Bailiwick Chicago production of FUCKING MEN will be the definitive version of the play. Tony-nominated playwright Joe DiPietro will be involved in the final stages of rehearsal, providing director Tom Mullen and the cast with rewrites and insights, and resulting in a performance most accurately representing Mr. DiPietro's vision. A talkback with Joe DiPietro and Tom Mullen will be held immediately after performances on Friday, June 18 and Sunday, June 20.
